Dear Mr. Casper:
Thank you very much for attaching the license plate. However, the original complaint included
the trailer remaining in the right-of-way and the trailer is still in the right-of-way (please review
the enclosed map), which is violation of the following municipal code:
Code Description
05-406.01 RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKING. It shall be unlawful for any person to park
any recreational vehicle, including but not limited to travel trailers, folding trailers,
motor homes, utility trailers, boats, or boat trailers on any street or any portion of
the municipal right-of-way, for more than forty-eight (48) hours in a seventy-two (72)
hour period.
If the trailer was next to your garage, it would be compliant with the city code and I would be will
be able to quit bothering you.
Three (3) days after receipt of this "courtesy" notice, the above property will be inspected to
assure the violation has been corrected / removed. If, following the inspection, it is determined
that the violation still exists, you will receive a formal notice to correct / remove the violation
within five (5) days of the date of the formal notice as per city code. If an extension is needed for j
additional time to comply with this request, please contact City Hall at (402) 426-4191.
