Dear Property Owner:
This is a courtesy letter to notify you that we have received a complaint regarding tall weeds on
your property located at 1751 Front Street, Blair, NE. This is a violation of the following
municipal codes:
Code Description
04 -506 NUISANCES; WEEDS, GRASSES, AND WORTHLESS VEGETATION; LITTER. In
addition to the definitions as provided in Sections 4 501 to 4 505 inclusive, a
nuisance is hereby declared to be and defined as permitting, allowing, or maintaining
any growth of twelve inches or more in height of weeds, grasses, or worthless
vegetation, or to litter or cause litter to be deposited or remain on any premises in the
municipality except in proper receptacles.
Three (3) business days after receipt of this "courtesy" notice, on or about July 27 2015, the
above property will be inspected to assure the violation has been corrected / removed. If,
following the inspection, it is determined that the violation still exists, you will receive a formal
notice to correct / remove the violation within five (5) days of the date of the formal notice as per
city code. If an extension is needed for additional time to comply with this request, please
contact City Hall at (402) 426 -4191.
