2015-21-Increasing Sewer FeesRESOLUTION NO. 2015 m 21 COUNCILMEMBER JENSEN INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION: WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Blair, Nebraska, may by resolution establish sewer use fees. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, THAT the minimum sewer use fee for customers of the municipal sanitary sewer system are set forth on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated by this referenced herein; provided further, that all such rates shall become effective with the billing which shall be sent to the customers on or about September 1, 2015 for the period commencing on July 1, 2015. FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that the rate schedule adopted as Exhibit "A" shall be uniformly increased as follows, 3% effective for sewer use for billing for August 2016 usage, 3% effective for sewer use for billing for August 2017 usage, and 3 % effective for sewer use for billing for August 2018 usage. COUNCIL MEMBER WOLFF MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER JENSEN. UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS VOTING "AYE" HALL, WILLIS, WOLFF, JENSEN AND ANDERSEN AND COUNCIL MEMBERS STEWART AND SHEPARD VOTING "NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 23RD DAY OF JUNE, 2015.
