Building permits are valid for two years. It has been over two and a half years since my previous contact, see attached copy of letter dated May 1, 2009, and we continue to receive complaints on j the condition of the property and particularly the safety of the nearly vertical wall, weeds, unfinished retaining wall, and other debris located on the property. Therefore, please know that the previous building permit has expired. You must contact me within thirty (30) days with a plan on how you propose to eliminate the safety concerns relative to the retaining wall, to acquire a new building permit to complete the retaining wall, and to get the area cleaned up to alleviate all nuisances that exist on the property. We must get resolution to this project and get the area cleaned up. The City Staff stands willing to work with you, or anyone else who may have an ownership interest in the property.
