Dear Property Owner:
This is a courtesy letter to notify you that we have received a complaint regarding maintaining
the area along South Street (see enclosed photos) by mowing the right -of -way and one - mower's
width along the inside of the sidewalk on your property located at the above address. This is a
violation of the following municipal codes:

Code Description
04 -506 NUISANCES; WEEDS, GRASSES, AND WORTHLESS VEGETATION; LITTER.
In addition to the definitions as provided in Sections 4 501 to 4 505 inclusive, a
nuisance is hereby declared to be and defined as permitting, allowing, or
maintaining any growth of twelve inches or more in height of weeds, grasses, or
worthless vegetation, or to litter or cause litter to be deposited or remain on any
premises in the municipality except in proper receptacles.
Three (3) days after receipt of this "courtesy" notice, the above property will be inspected to
assure the violation has been corrected / removed.
Please also note that any future violations regarding mowing will be handled through our normal
process of hand - delivering a letter or posting sign for five days, followed by the hiring of a
contractor to mow and then billing you directly.
On behalf of the citizens of Blair, thank you for your prompt attention to this matter and for your
efforts in helping to preserve a clean, neat and safe community.
