COUNCIL MEMBER KEPHART INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING ORDINANCE:
AN ORDINANCE VACATING REAL ESTATE KNOWN AS A 10' STRIP OF ALLEY
RIGHT OF WAY ADJACENT TO LOT 7 AND LOT 8, BLOCK 2, BECKS ADDITION,
BETWEEN ADAMS STREET AND FAIRVIEW DRIVE, BLAIR CITY, WASHINGTON
COUNTY, NEBRASKA; PROVIDING FOR THE CITY OF BLAIR TO RESERVE TITLE OF
VACATED ALLEY RIGHT OF WAY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE
SHALL BE IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION OF
THIS ORDINANCE IN PAMPHLET FORM.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BLAIR, NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The described real estate known as a 10' strip of Alley Right of Way
adjacent to Lot 7 and Lot 8, Block 2, Becks Addition, between Adams Street and Fairview Drive
in the City of Blair, Washington County, Nebraska, (See Exhibit 'A" attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference) is hereby vacated and the ownership of the same, pursuant to
Neb. Rev. Stat. § 16 -611, said title shall be reserved by the City of Blair, Washington County,
Nebraska.
SECTION 2. All ordinances, resolutions or orders or parts thereof in conflict with the
provisions of this Ordinance are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and following the
passage and publication hereof as required by law and shall be published in pamphlet for.
