The majority of the properties zoned RRE are 2 acres or more. We understand if approved this would still be regulated by a conditional use permit. We have a state licensed hobby kennel of AKC French Bulldogs. At this time we have one male and seven females. We understand we can have up to three dogs otherwise. With one of our dogs being my husbands hunting dog that would only allow us to have one male and one female. We would like to have more than just the two French Bulldogs if possible. These dogs do not run lose outside an exercise pen unless we are right there with them. Being an expensive breed that they are, we are very careful when we would do that. They bark very little and are a small family friendly breed. We would not have them if they were harmful to anyone, having three grandchildren of our own. They are now and would be in an air conditioned/heated kennel with each having their own cement run. We would put up a similar facility to what we have now with an exercise pen. We keep a very neat and clean facility. These dogs are never chained up and are very well taken care of. We ship these puppies throughout the United States and have our own website for advertising. At this time, we live on 2 acres three miles north of Auburn, NE, which has given us plenty of room to do this. We feel that this property having a little over 2 acres and the private backyard that it has would be beneficial for this. We have not purchased the property yet, but are considering it with the outcome of this playing somewhat of a factor. We do not want to upset any neighbors by doing this and would also be concerned if they were doing the same. The breed, noise, and how they were managed would be a definite concern to us also. We would not be doing this if we thought any of these were a factor. We do not have a problem with this being on a trial basis for a year and if all works out we would apply for another conditional permit. You are welcome to visit our website at www.jensensfrenchbulldogs.com to see this breed and what we have right now. They range from 18 to 25 pounds. They are not a hyper dog but a laid back breed. Once again we understand that if you will allow this that it will be under conditional permit circumstances. Thank you in advance for taking this into consideration. I guess there is really no reason so follow through with having this on the agenda. I am assuming we may just be out the $53.00 and understand if that goes toward the filing. We really do appreciate all the help you have given us regarding this property. Let us know if we need to do anything to cancel the request. Thanks again.
