2014-36RESOLUTION NO. 2014- 36
COUNCIL MEMBER KEPHART INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS, RESOLUTION NO. 2014 -32 was passed and adopted on September
9, 2014, and
WHEREAS, an error was discovered in the tax rate included in Section 2 on
resolution no. 2014 -32, a copy of which is attached hereto;
WHEREAS, the rate referenced in section 2 of the resolution should be corrected
as follows;
(2) The combined levy set forth in Section 1 hereinabove, is the property tax request
for the Airport Authority for the City of Blair, for the fiscal year beginning
October 1, 2014 which said levy is set at $.034165 per one hundred dollars of
valuation for debt service; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the rate referenced in Section 2 of
the resolution is in error and levy shall be set at $.034165 per one hundred dollars of
valuation for debt service.
COUNCIL MEMBER KEPHART MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED
AS READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER
SHEPARD. UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS SHEPARD, STEWART,
KEPHART, JENSEN AND ANDERSEN VOTING "AYE ", AND COUNCIL
MEMBERS NONE VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING
RESOLUTION PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 14TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2014.
