2014-30RESOLUTION NO. 2014 - 30
COUNCILMEMBER KEPHART INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS the City of Blair, Nebraska has developed a rate of pay for Law
Enforcement Officers of the City of Blair Police Department when hired in an extra -duty
capacity.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, that the rate of pay for Law Enforcement Officers of
the City of Blair Police Department when hired in an extra -duty capacity shall be set at
$48.85 per hour with an effective date of October 1, 2014. A detailed breakdown of the rate is
attached hereto, marked Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part of hereof as though fully
set forth herein is hereby adopted and accepted by the City of Blair, Nebraska.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, is hereby authorized to execute and deliver, on behalf of the City of Blair,
Nebraska, any documents that may be necessary for approval of rate of pay.
COUNCIL MEMBER KEPHART MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER SHEPARD.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS SHEPARD, KEPHART, ANDERSEN,
CHRISTIANSEN, ANDERSEN,JENSEN, HALL VOTING "AYE" AND COUNCIL
MEMBERS NONE VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING
RESOLUTION PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 26TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2014.
