SUBJECT: Mowing of along Park Street.

It has been brought to our attention that a section of the 60' strip of property owned by the
Blair Community Schools abutting Park Street between 1750 Park Street and 1776 Park Street,
as well as a section of the west side of the 1750 Park Street property owned by Mr. Nielsen, is
not currently being mowed. The owner of property abutting a street within the City limits is
responsible for maintaining the area free and clear of weeds and debris and to keep the grass
mowed on their property.
The city is not sure of the exact location of the property line here. Therefore, if you are not
currently maintaining your property (see attached) from the front line of the house at 1750
Park Street to the curb, we ask that you mow this area within five (5) days of receipt of this
letter and continue to do so on a regular basis throughout the mowing season.
On behalf of the citizens of Blair, I would like to thank you for your prompt attention and
cooperation in this matter.
