SUBJECT: Maintenance of city of right of way (public sidewalk) along Highway 30 on the
east side near Woodhouse Ford

It has been brought to our attention that the sidewalk along your property at the above address
is covered with mud, rock and silt from drainage off of your property onto the sidewalk.
Blair Municipal Code requires that every owner of a lot or tract of ground within the City shall at
all times keep and maintain the sidewalk along and adjacent to such property in good and
proper repair and in a condition reasonably safe and suitable for all lawful travel thereon.
Please take the necessary action to clear the sidewalk of any debris within five (5) days of
receipt of this letter. Your property will be re- inspected for compliance on or about May 28,
2014. Also, we ask that you evaluate your property to prevent further debris from entering the
sidewalk.
