1403_0001.tif i I, CITY Of I)LAIQ �mise of av February 27, 2014 j I John and Shelly Timm 1403 Front St. Blair, NE 68008 RE: Zoning Ordinance Regulation regarding definition of Family Dear Mr. & Mrs. Timm, We have received a complaint that possibly eight (8) adults and several children are living at the above address in which you are the renters. j According to the City of Blair Zoning Regulations, the definition of "Family" is as follows: (62) FAMILY: One or more persons related by blood, marriage, or adoption, living together as a single housekeeping unit, or a group of not more than four (4) unrelated persons living together as a single housekeeping unit; plus in either case, usual domestic servants. A family shall under no circumstances be construed as a boarding house, fraternity, or sorority house, club, lodging house, hotel or motel. Based upon the above definition, no more than four (4) unrelated persons are allowed to live together in a single unit. Also, a family is not a boarding house, lodging house, hotel or motel. If you allow unrelated persons to pay you rent of any kind or reside there on a regular basis, you are in violation of the Blair Zoning Regulations. Please send us a complete list of all persons residing at this dwelling, along with their relationship to you, no later than March 7, 2014. Thank you for your cooperation.
