Following our conversation this morning, and my review of the submitted plans and civil plans, see my notes
below in RED regarding the status of these 9 issues.
Please be specific regarding items which will be deferred.
None of these items should delay the issuing of the actual pen Once we receive information regarding the
general contractor, the building permit will be ready to issue.

Re: Plan Review Notice for Casey's new store, Blair, N.E.
Please respond to the following comments:
1. Sheet AL -501 shows the canopy footings at 3'0" below grade. Please show at 42" minimum. (Dustin will submit
a revised drawing)
2. Provide Civil drawings. Show elevations, silt fences, grading, sidewalks, storm drainage, etc. (City had already
received civil plans. They have been approved and are ready to pi ck up. No further changes are required.)
3. Sheet A -402: Show a portion of the sales counter at a maximum 36" above the floor and a minimum of 36"
long. (A note was included on the page which said the 7" riser would not be installed. The drawing is approved
and no further changes are required.)

4. Show the location of the emergency disconnect for the pumps as per section 2203.2 of the IFC, 09'. (The
location is show on sheet G -011. Outside shutoff is on west side of lot. Inside shutoff is also shown. The drawing
is approved and no further changes are required.)
5. Provide plans for typed hood fire suppression system (Sheet M -401 shows the Type 1 hood. Additional details
regarding the fire suppression system inside the hood are also required. These plans can be deferred until just
prior to installation.)
6. Provide sign permit application and wall sign attachment details. Contact Brandy at 402- 426 -4191. (Sign details
[size, location, etc.] and attachment details [how attached and to what material] must be provided at time of
application. Information can be sent through mail or email.)
7. List required Special Inspections on the plans as per Chapter 17, IBC09'. (If no Special Inspections are required,
please specify that in writing via email or letter.)
8. Provide mechanical and plumbing permit applications. Contact Brandy at 402 - 426 -4191. (Mechanical and
Plumbing contractor should contact Brandy directly.)
9. Show the location of a key box on the plans. This is typically located near the front entrance. We will attach a
key box application to the approved plans. (This drawing can be deferred until just prior to installation.)
