Topic: Novozymes Contractor workshop
Mr. Green,
Novozymes is pursuing the installation of contractor workshops, to provide sheltered
space for contractor work. Novozymes, is considering this space to be temporary, but is
requesting the cities input and approval prior to our pro ceedi ng. Below is a summary of
our intent
• Two buildings of the size 28 ft W x 52 ft L x 10 ft N (1,456 sq ft each for a total of
2,912 sq ft).
• Construction will be pre -- engineered, steel framing with steel sheeting.
• Concrete stab will be provided for a safe working surface and for anchoring of th
building.
• No permanent utilities (power drops will be located outside of buildings), no office
space, no restrooms.
• Use will be for contractor fabrication and storing of equipment and materials.
• Estimated life of the buildings to be 5 years, These buildings will be removed for
future plant expansions.
Given the above conditions, if the city deems these to be temporary structures, please
provide your approval. If you have additional questions or concerns that need to
address, please let me know.
I am targeting the completion of this construction prior to winter,
