Roll Call
Members of the Blair Park Board met at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, at Optimists Park.
Members present: Jeene Hobbs, vice president; Ann George, secretary; Roger Petersen, Ardee
Pounds. Blair Park
Department: Pat Long. Others: Brad Andersen, member, Blair City Council; and nine others
who were either boaters or Optimists Club members.
Other business
At a brief business meeting Ardee Pounds suggested placing recycling containers at several of
the city parks. It was noted that the Blair Recycling Center might be interested in helping pay
for them.
Subsequently, Pat Long and Brad Andersen led Park Board members on a tour of the park to
see what progress had been made since the 2011 flood and to see what still needs to be done.
The Board will next meet at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, in the City Council
Chambers (unless notified otherwise in the agenda mailing).
