COUNCIL MEMBER CHRISTIANSEN INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:
That the proposed schedule for special assessments against the following properties for mowing:
1) Tax Lot 553, Section 11, Township 18, Range 11, BC Washington
County, NE (809 N. 16 St),
2) Lot 3 and part of vacated Street, Block 73, BC Washington County, NE (13 31
Colfax St)
3) Lot 58, 66 Heights, Blair City, BC Washington County, NE (1064 N. 18
Ave)
4) Lots 1 & 2, part of vacated street, Block 18, Blair City (1303 Nebraska St)
are hereby tentatively approved and placed on file with the City Clerk for inspection by all
interested parties; that the Mayor and City Council shall hold a special meeting at 218 South 16
Street on the 27th day of August, 2013 at 7:00 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of sitting as a Board of
Equalization to levy special assessments on the lots and parcels of land benefited by mowing:
1) Tax Lot 553, Section 11, Township 18, Range 11, BC Washington
County, NE (809 N. 16 St),
2) Lot 3 and part of vacated Street, Block 73, BC Washington County, NE (1331
Colfax St)
3) Lot 58, 66 Heights, Blair City, BC Washington County, NE (1064 N. 18'
Ave)
4) Lots 1 & 2, part of vacated street, Block 18, BC Washington County, NE
(13 03 Nebraska St)
that notice of the time of holding such meeting and the purpose for which it is held shall be
published in The Enterprise, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in the City at
least 10 days (two publications) before the date of said hearing; that the City Clerk is directed to
publish such notice in the form presented to this meeting, which form of notice shall be annexed to
the minutes showing passage of this resolution, and the Clerk shall mail copies of such notice to all
interested parties as provided by law.
COUNCIL MEMBER KEPHART MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER ANDERSEN.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS VOTING "AYE" STEWART, KEPHART, RYAN,
CHRISTIANSEN, JENSEN, ANDERSEN AND HALL AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED
AND ADOPTED THIS 13TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2013.
