2007-19COUNCIL MEMBER ABBOTT INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION: BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the City Council of the City of Blair, Nebraska, as follows: WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council ") of the City of Blair, Nebraska (the "City ") hereby finds and determines that, in connection with the proposed issuance by the City of not to exceed $15,000,000 aggregate stated principal amount of Water System Revenue Bond Anticipation Notes, in one or more series (the "Notes "), it is necessary and advisable to hold a public hearing in order to satisfy requirements provided for in Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing is hereby called and set for the meeting of the Council to be held on March 27, 2007, at 7:00 o'clock, P.M. at the City Council Chambers, 218 South l6th Street, Blair, Nebraska, and publication of notice of such hearing as required by law, and such other actions as may be necessary or appropriate to call and conduct said public hearing, are hereby authorized and ratified. law.
