RE: Nuisance Complaints
Dear Toelke Residence,
Please be informed that I represent the City of Blair as City Attorney. It has been
requested by the City that I take measures to ensure that the oil leakage issues concerning
a green Mercury Cougar be resolved in short order. Complaints have been received by
the City of Blair. Said complainants indicate that a green Mercury Cougar leaks oil and
the oil has left a trail along the streets and sidewalks of the city as well as on your own
property. The complaints have expressed concern with the unsightly result of the
leakage, the potential for property value depreciation for others in the neighborhood and

health concerns relating to the oil.
This letter is a demand for yon -to repair the vehicle immediately to prevent any further
leakage. If the issue is not resolved to the satisfaction of the City of Blair, you could be
issued citations each day that you are in violation of the City Code sections relating to
nuisances and/or littering. I have the authority to pursue this within the limits of the City
Code until the matter is resolved.
I prefer to have the matter resolved without any further citations, court appearances or
other adversarial proceedings. I am setting a deadline of ten (10) days from the date of
this letter for the vehicle to be repaired or removed. I trust that you will promptly comply
with this request. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions.
Alternatively; you may contact the City of Blair at (402)426 -4191 in order to schedule an
inspection to demonstrate the issue has been resolved.
