COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS:
That the proposed schedule for special assessments against the following properties for
mowing: 1) Lot 10, Block 3, Blair City (1030 State St),
2) Lots 1 & 2, part of vacated street, Block 18, Blair City (1303 Nebraska St)
3) Lot 58, 66 Heights, Blair City (1064 N. 18 Ave)
4) Lot 10 & 43.33' W40' Lot 9, part of vacated alley adjacent, Gordon's Addition,
(63 8 N. 13 St), Blair City, all in Washington County, Nebraska are hereby tentatively approved
and placed on file with the City Clerk for inspection by all interested parties; that the Mayor and
City Council shall hold a special meeting at 218 South 16 Street on the 9th day of July, 2013 at
7:00 o'clock P.M. for the purpose of sitting as a Board of Equalization to levy special assessments
on the lots and parcels of land benefited by mowing:
1) Lot 10, Block 3, Blair City (1030 State St),
2) Lots 1 & 2, part of vacated street, Block 18, Blair City (13 03 Nebraska St)
3) Lot 58, 66 Heights, Blair City (1064 N. 18 Ave)
4) Lot 10 & 43.33' W40' Lot 9 , part of vacated alley adjacent, Gordon's Addition,
(63 8 N. 13 St), Blair City, all in Washington County, Nebraska; that notice of the time of holding
such meeting and the purpose for which it is held shall be published in The Enterprise, a legal
newspaper published and of general circulation in the City at least 10 days (two publications)
before the date of said hearing; that the City Clerk is directed to publish such notice in the form
presented to this meeting, which form of notice shall be annexed to the minutes showing passage
of this resolution, and the Clerk shall mail copies of such notice to all interested parties as provided
by law.
COUNCIL MEMBER RYAN MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS READ,
WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER KEPHART. UPON
ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS VOTING "AYE" SHEPARD, STEWART, KEPHART,
RYAN, CHRISTIANSEN, ANDERSEN AND HALL AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED
AND ADOPTED THIS 25TH DAY OF JUNE, 2013.
