NF i AGREEMENT This agreement is entered into on August 8, 2012 by and between Jeremy Beckenhauer, hereinafter referred to as "Beckenhauer" and the City of Blair, Nebraska, hereinafter referred to as "City". i LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lots 4 & 5, Block 55, Blair City, Washington County, Nebraska. i ADDRESS: 1421 Lincoln St. Whereas, Beckenhauer has been presented with and is in acknowledgement of the Property Maintenance Report dated December 13, 2011 that is attached to this agreement regarding the above property; and Whereas, this agreement shall be filed with the Washington County Register of Deeds Office and be made part of the permanent record relating to this property; and Whereas, Beckenhauer agrees to work with the City after he obtains possession of the property to bring the existing residential structure into compliance with the 2009 International Property Maintenance Code on or before September 14, 2012; and Whereas, Beckenhauer further agrees to obtain any required permits for this project; and Whereas, Beckenhauer further understands that as part of the permit process he must register with the City as a "General Contractor" or enter into an agreement with a "General Contractor" that is registered with the City, and that all subcontractors performing work involving plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems shall be registered or licensed by the City, as required, and that all required permits shall be obtained. Now therefore it is agreed by all parties that: 1. The City will execute a release of the "Agreement ", filed with the Washington County Register of Deeds office dated July 13, 2012 in Book 589, Page 171 -172, relating to this property. j 2. All work required by the Property Maintenance Report dated December 13, 2011 or required by the City Building Inspector to bring the structure up to code shall be performed by licensed contractors and with all required permits. 3. All permits for the repair of the property shall be obtained by September 14, 2012 which include Building, Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing permits. 4. All work shall be completed by December 1, 2012. I i Page 1 i 6 s i Y 5. No occupancy shall be granted until a Final Inspection is approved by the City Building inspector, verifying that all repairs and construction required by this Agreement have been completed per the approved plans and specifications.
