2006-29RESOLUTION NO. 2006 - 29 COUNCIL MEMBER WOLFF INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION: WHEREAS, Section 5 -404 of the Municipal Code of the City of Blair provides that the governing body may by resolution prohibit or regulate parking on designated streets or parts of streets. WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council, has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of Blair and its residents to regulate parking on the both sides of 20 Street between Lincoln Street and Grant Street, designating parallel parking only. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, that only parallel parking will be allowed on both sides of 20 Street between Lincoln Street and Grant Street. COUNCILMEMBER ABBOTT MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER FANOELE. UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCILMEMBERS STEWART, SCHEVE, SHOTWELL, FANOELE, ABBOTT, WOLFF, BIFFAR AND MCMANIGAL, VOTING "AYE ", AND COUNCILMEMBERS NONE VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 27 DAY OF JUNE, 2006 ATTEST: ALL BRENDA BRENDA R.
