A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BLAIR,
NEBRASKA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING WITH WASHINGTON COUNTY AND BLAIR SEED SERVICES AND
OTHER CONTRACT DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO APPROVE THE EXPENDITURE OF
$30,000 IN CDBG RECOVERED PROGRAM INCOME REUSE FUNDS FROM THE CITY
OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA.

Blair Seed Services has submitted an application to Washington County and the
City of Blair for $30,000 each in CDBG Recovered Program Income funds; and
the City of Blair adopted a CDBG Reuse Revolving Loan/Grant Program — Reuse
Plan for Economic Development on April 23, 2003, for such purpose; and
according to the Reuse Plan the application was submitted to the City of Blair
CDBG Loan Committee for review; and
the City of Blair CDBG Loan Committee reviewed the application and program
requirements and has unanimously voted to recommend approval of the request;
and
WHEREAS, the City of Blair has approximately $108,000 in the CDBG Reuse Funds account
as of the date of the public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and City Council of Blair, Nebraska,
do hereby approve the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding with
Washington County and Blair Seed Services and other contract documents
necessary to approve the expenditure of $30,000 in CDBG Recovered Program
Income Reuse funds from the City of Blair, Nebraska.
COUNCILMEMBER ABBOTT MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED AS
READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCILMEMBER WOLFF.
UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS STEWART, SCHEVE, SHOTWELL FANOELE,
ABBOTT, WOLFF AND BIFFAR VOTING "AYE ", AND COUNCIL MEMBERS NONE
VOTING "NAY", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION PASSED
AND ADOPTED THIS 13TH DAY OF JUNE, 2006.
