Davis 8807 W. 101 St. ' Overland Park, KS 66212 -4125 i RE: Construction of accessory structure with no permit and across property line Dear Mr. and Mrs. Davis, It has been brought to our attention that l n It also struc has be the structure located pr the w north obtaining a building permit from the City of Bla property line. Blair's Zoning Ordinance requires a 5' rear and side yard setback for accessory structures that are permanently attached to the ground and are larger than 120 sq. ft (see attached regulations). This means there must be a minimum of 5' between the property line and the foundation of any accessory building, structure or support. Therefore, this building will either need to be removed from the property or you apply for a building permit to move the structure to comply with the required side and rear setbacks. A plot plan drawing indicating your side and rear setback distance will be required as part of this application. Please contact either me or Phil Green at (402) 426 4191 by April 30, 2013 to review your options regarding this structure. If we do not hear from you by the above date, this issue will be turned over to our City Attorney for further action. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter. Sincerely, Brenda Wheeler City Clerk Cc: Adam Tripp, City Attorney Phil Green, Assistant City Administrator 218 South 16th Street • Blair, Nebraska 68008 0 402 - 426 -4191 ^ Fax 402 - 426 -4195 E -mail cityofblair @cl,blair.ne.us
