Trunk Sewer RepairAMENDMENT NO.1 TO AGREEMENT
FOR
ENGINEERING SERVICES
TASK ORDER NO. 6: TRUNK SEWER REPAIR
WHEREAS:
HDR ENGINEERING., INC. ( "HDR ") entered into an Agreement on December 13, 2010 to perform
engineering services for City of Blair, Nebraska (" OWNER ");
OWNER desires to amend this Agreement in order for HDR to perform services beyond those
previously contemplated;
HDR is willing to amend the agreement and perform the additional engineering services.
NOW, THEREFORE, HDR and OWNER do hereby agree:
The Agreement and the terms and conditions therein shall remain unchanged other than those
sections and exhibits listed below;
PART 1.0: Replace the Project Description with the following:
"Develop plans and specifications for the construction of a new 24 -inch diameter trunk sewer. The
project will include:
1. A 36 -inch diameter steel encasement under the UPRR tracks and US Highway 30
2. z A 24 -inch diameter trunk sewer
3. Connections to the existing sewer completed by offset manholes
4. Open cut of Fairview Drive
5. A new manhole at the project midpoint
6. Abandonment of the existing sewer south of the UPRR
7. Filling of the existing sewer within UPRR right of way
PART 4.0: Amend the Periods of Service as .follows:
1. Notice to Proceed:
May 9, 20.12
2. 90% plans to City:
May 22, 2012
3. Permit Applications:
May 25, 2012
4. Final Plans to City:
June 6, 2012
PART 5.0: Amend the payment to the ENGINEER by $9,500 to a total not to exceed amount of
$19,500.
