Dear Property Owner:
You recently received a formal letter notifying you that we had received a complaint regarding maintaining the
area along South Street (see enclosed photos) by mowing on your property located at the above address. To
date, the violation has not been fully corrected / removed. Mowing must be done on both sides of the sidewalk,
even on hilly terrain, just as adjoining property owners have done.
This is a violation of the following municipal codes:
Code Description
04 -506 NUISANCES; WEEDS, GRASSES, AND WORTHLESS VEGETATION; LITTER. In addition to
the definitions as provided in Sections 4 501 to 4 505 inclusive, a nuisance is hereby declared to
be and defined as permitting, allowing, or maintaining any growth of twelve inches or more in
height of weeds, grasses, or worthless vegetation, or to litter or cause litter to be deposited or
remain on any premises in the municipality except in proper receptacles.
According to the City of Blair Municipal Code, you must correct this violation within five (5) days of the receipt
of this letter or a $100 citation will be issued
