Unfortunately, Spam blocked any attachments you sent along with this email. If you are stating this is a city tree, the city is not responsible for acts of God. However, I can report this tree to the city employee that is responsible for looking at trees. He will determine if the tree is a city tree and if it needs to be removed. If he is unsure, he will call in the state arborist to make an opinion on the tree. If the tree is determined to be healthy, it is the responsibility of the property owner to properly maintain the tree. You should contact your insurance company because they would be the responsible party for any damage to your property. I will contact you after the city employee has evaluated ownership and condition of the tree. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions. Last night, 5 -19 -2012, during the storm a very large branch was ripped from the tree falling onto my garage pulling part of the gutter from the house. Do I need to contact my insurance company to contact you? I've enclosed pictures and asked neighbors to make sure that it is left exactly as it is until I get confirmation on what you need. I can tell that there are other potential dangers with this tree and I ask that it be removed before more serious and costly damage is done. If you need to contact me, please do so through email. Only in an emergency situation you may contact me on my cell phone - 402 - 599 -9101. 1 work the hours that you are open and am only able to take calls on breaks and lunch. Thank you, Patricia Lawler 227 N 22nd St Blair, NE
