Dear Mr. & Mrs. Tabor,
In July, 2011, Rod Storm, City Administrator and I visited your property regarding a complaint
that had been received regarding the construction of a fence on your property without a permit.
At that time, we discussed with you your options for placement of this fence and informed you a
building permit would need to be obtained prior to your continuing with the fence.
You indicated to me via the telephone several days later that you were going to put the project on
hold for several weeks to decide how you wanted to proceed. To date, the partial fence still
remains on your property. Therefore, you will either need to obtain a building permit to
construct this fence according to the City of Blair's Zoning Ordinance for fencing or remove the
fence completely.
Please contact this office by Wednesday, December 14, 2011 with either an application for a
building permit or to inform us the fence has been removed. If you have any questions, feel free
to contact me. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
