1. A site plan showing the location of the windmill. The plan should at least show the property lines
and building footprint on the north half of the facility. At 48' in height, the windmill must be at
least 48' from the property line and/or right -of -way.
2. We also need to know who the contractor is installing the windmill. The contractor must be
registered with the City of Blair. If misc. Cargill employees are doing the installation, then one
of them must be licensed with the City as a general contractor. If someone needs to register, they
should speak with Brandy Petersen at city hall (402.426.4191) about the process / paperwork and
fee ($60). E
The permit fee is $322, which includes a $200 refundable deposit.
