Type of Construction — Structural steel framing with concrete floors on metal decking
each elevated floor. Insulated metal panels for siding for three sides and a 10" thick
concrete wall between this Administration building and the existing and new
Fermentation buildings. The roof is built -up insulation with a membrane. Type II -B
construction.
7 Exit signage and exit illumination will comply with Sections 1011 and 1006 and will be submitted later as part of the
electrical work
Our design will comply with the 2009 International Building Code and other than maintenance, these areas are
unoccupied.
We are requesting a deferral on items 2, 4 and 7 above to allow time to revise our structural steel drawings as not to
impede the building permit process and progress for our concrete foundation and piling work,
We would greatly appreciate your favorable review of this letter and approval of our submittal for a building permit for our
concrete and piling work. Those drawings which will reflect the requested changes will be submitted as part of our
structural package as soon as the drawings are completed. Item 7 will be submitted separately at a much later date as
our electrical design is in progress and will not be complete before our structural re- submittal.
