Project Title: Polyols I/O Room Office Area
Project Executive Summary:
This project will create a 600 sq. ft. office space in the SE corner of the Polyols I/O Room.
New office space will add 6 computer workstations. These stations will be used for a permit
office, equipment commissioning, and a programming simulation computer.
Existing/ Remaining Space:
The rest of the area serves and will continue to serve as the Polyols instrumentation and
network room, with most of the plant's IO racks and server switches.

Project Scope:
• Install 1 hour fire rated walls and 2 new doors to partition off the SE corner of the
I/O Room
• Install a Sanyo 1.5 ton ductless mini -split heat pump unit in the I/O Room office.
Condensing unit will be mounted on the existing concrete slab with the I/O Room
and MCC Room Condensing units (south of Utilities building).
• Install a drop ceiling and six 4 lamp light fixtures.
• Modify the sprinkler heads for the office addition.
• Paint the remaining three walls and apply concrete coating to the floor
• Install 6 total workstations - 2 will be used for issuing permits, 2 will be used for
commissioning work, 1 will contain a D3 computer and 1 will contain the simulation
station
