COUNCIL MEMBER CHRISTIANSEN INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION:
WHEREAS the City of Blair, Nebraska, has been presented with an Interlocal Agreement
between the City of Blair, Nebraska, and the Washington County, Nebraska, to provide
emergency housing facilities at Holling Hall on the campus of Dana College for persons affected
by the flood emergency.
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions thereof are acceptable to the municipality.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, that the Interlocal Agreement attached hereto, marked
Exhibit "A" and by this reference made a part of hereof as though fully set forth herein is hereby
approved by the City of Blair, Nebraska.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK OF THE
CITY OF BLAIR, NEBRASKA, are hereby authorized to execute and deliver, on behalf of the
City of Blair, Nebraska, any documents that may be necessary for approval of said agreement.
COUNCIL MEMBER CHRISTIANSEN MOVED THAT THE RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED
AS READ, WHICH SAID MOTION WAS SECONDED BY COUNCIL MEMBER
KEPHART. UPON ROLL CALL, COUNCIL MEMBERS SHEPARD, STEWART, RYAN,
KEPHART, CHRISTIANSEN, WOLFF AND HALL VOTING "AYE", AND COUNCIL
MEMBERS NONE VOTING "NAY ", THE MAYOR DECLARED THE FOREGOING
RESOLUTION PASSED AD ADOPTED THIS 28 DAY OF JUNE, 2011.

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
This Interlocal Agreement entered into by and between the City of Blair,
Nebraska (hereinafter referred . to as "Blair ") and Washington County, Nebraska
(hereinafter referred to as "Washington County "), on this th day of June, 2011.
WHEREAS, the City of Blair has contracted with Dana College in Receivership,
c/o Cordes & Company in its capacity as Receiver and not individually for rental of
Holling Hall on the Campus of Dana College in order to provide housing for persons
affected by the flood emergency; and,
WHEREAS, Washington County, Nebraska desires to participate in providing the
emergency housing facilities.
FOR VALUABLE CONSIDERATION, receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows, to -wit:
1. Blair shall enter into the rental agreement with Dana College in Receivership,
c/o Cordes & Company in its capacity as Receiver and not individually which
is attached hereto and incorporated herein.
2. Blair shall be responsible for providing the liability insurance per the lease
agreement.
3. Blair and Washington County shall each be responsible for one -half (1/2) of
the costs for the rental of Hollings Hall on the Dana College Campus for
temporary housing relief due to the flooding in the sum of $2500.00 per
month each.
4. Blair shall be responsible for the coordinating with Blair Area Chamber of
Commerce, Gateway Development Corporation, Washington County
Ministerial Association, and other volunteers to oversee and manage the relief
housing.
5. This agreement shall cease at the end of December, 2011.
