Lactide Loadout Project
1.0 Work:
Secondary containment is provided by existing concrete curb. Containment must be
maintained during construction.
1.0.1 Area 245/345
1.0.1.1 Demolition of the following items:
• Existing concrete slab for the new concrete footers.
• Existing pipe bollards (5).
• Existing leveling pad.
• Existing concrete landing for stairs.
1.0.1.2 Existing tank farm dike stair, access platform and footers to be
removed as required and reconstructed, in kind, for construction of the
south /west column footer and pier. — Contractor to include in Foundation
Option #1 itemized pricing.
1.0.1.3 All excavation required for the placement of new concrete.
1.0.1.4 Backfill and finish grading as required. The site conditions of road
stone around the loadout area shall be returned to normal conditions at
the completion of work.
1.0.1.5 Form and cast concrete for the following items:
■ (1) Grade beam & curbs.
■ (2) Column footers 9' sq.
■ (1) column footer 8' -0" x 5' -6 ".
■ (1) column footer 6' -6" sq.
■ (4) piers
■ (1) modular enclosure slab.
■ (1) emergency shower pad.
■ (1) doorway pad.
■ Replacement slab, curbing, and asphalt pavement
removed for column footer construction.
■ (1) 9' sq footer/ pier in south /west corner near modular
enclosure — Contractor to include in Foundation Option #1
itemized pricing.
1.0.1.6 Column anchor bolts.
1.0.1.7 Grout patch around perimeter of the existing truck leveling pad
and pipe bollards.
1.0.1.8 Install (7) new bollards.
