This letter confirms our Flood Insurance Study (FIS) final meeting to be held on Thursday, July 8,
2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Multi- Purpose Room at the Washington County Courthouse, located at
1555 Colfax Street, Blair Nebraska.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the results of the revised Digital Flood Insurance Rate Map
and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) prepared by Papio - Missouri River Natural Resources District,
under agreement with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
It is important that elected officials of the governing body be in attendance, as well as the local
technical and administrative personnel responsible for managing the study area through your
floodplain management regulations. We suggest that all residents who might be effected by the
study results be notified of the meeting and be given the opportunity to attend.
