Dear Louann,
It has been brought to our attention there are two (2) large dangerous trees located in the front yard on the above
property.
These trees have been inspected by Mark Hodson, Public Works Superintendent. He has determined the trees
are split and considered a nuisance. The Blair Municipal Code states a nuisance exists by permitting any
condition or thing to exist which may cause injuries or endangers the comfort, repose, health or safety of others;
or in any way renders another person insecure in life or the use of property; or interferes with the comfortable
enjoyment of life and property.
Therefore, based on the above information, you are hereby notified to remove the trees or have the trees
removed by a registered tree contractor no later than May 31, 2011 or you could be subject to a $100 citation
for violation of the nuisance ordinance.
We anticipate your property to be inspected on or after Mgy 31, 2011 to confirm compliance with this request.
If you have any questions or would like Mark Hodson to meet you at the location to confirm the exact location
of the tree, feel free to contact either me or Mark.
