Dear Mr & Mrs Harman:
On or about November 11, 2010, you received a courtesy letter notifying you that
a complaint had been filed regarding violation of city code on your property. To date,
the violation has not been corrected.
The violation is for trees on your property overhanging public right of way. Trees
need to be cut so there is an 8' clearance above the surface of the sidewalk and a 16'
clearance above the street.
According to the City Code, you must correct the violation within 5 days of the
receipt of this letter or a $100 citation will be issued.
We anticipate your property will be reinspected on or about April 1, 2011. Again,
if the violation has not been resolved a citation will be issued.

This is a courtesy letter to notify you that a complaint has been filed on your property
located at the above address for one or more of the following code violations:
Section 6 -333 Junk Accumulation
XX Section 8 -410 Nuisances (Tree on property is
overhanging public right of way. Tree needs to be cut so there
is an 8' clearance above the surface of the sidewalk and a 16'
clearance above the street. See enclosed photos.)
Enclosed you will find a copy of the code for your reference. If this violation has been
taken care of, 1 would like to thank you for your efforts in helping to preserve a clean, neat
and safe community.
Five (5) days after the date of this "courtesy" notice, the above property will be inspected to
assure the violation has been removed. If following the inspection it is determined that the
violation still exists, you will receive a formal notice to abate the violation within five (5)
days of the date of the form notice as per the attached code.
Can behalf of the citizens of Blair, I would like to thank you for your prompt attention and
cooperation in this matter.
