OF TRAINED CANINE
In consideration of the transfer of ownership of canine, TEKA, hereinafter referred to as the
"ANIMAL ", from the City of Blair, Nebraska, to the undersigned, the undersigned hereby
releases and forever discharges the City of Blair, Nebraska, the Blair Police Department, the
Chief of the Blau Police Department, their agents, employees, heirs, and assigns from any and.
all injury, disability, loss, destruction, or mishap that may occur to be the undersigned, any
persons or property in connection with the "ANIMAL ". The undersigned accepts full
responsibility and furthermore agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the City of Blair,
Nebraska, the Blair Police Department, the Chief of the Blair Police Department, and their
agents, employees, heirs, and assigns for any injury or damage to any person or property that
may occur or be caused by or contributed to be caused by the "ANIMAL" after the transfer of
the ownership, which is effective as of the date indicated below.
The undersigned is fully aware of the nature of the training the "ANIMAL" received and the
nature of the work that the "ANIMAL" was trained to perform during the time of ownership by
the City of Blair, Nebraska. Further, the undersigned recipient understands the need to provide
the "ANIMAL" with suitable shelter and reasonable surroundings that is consistent with its
training and work experience.
