RE: Temporary Banner sign located along highway right of way in front of Blue Diamond
Touchless Car Wash Sign — 113 0 S. Hwy 30
Dear Mr. & Mrs. McDonald,
It has been brought to our attention that you have placed a banner at the above location that does
not comply with the City of Blair's Zoning Ordinance regarding signs.
Enclosed please find a copy of the sign regulations governing property in the A/CH
(Agricultural/Highway Commercial Zoning District). You will note the regulations do not
provide for off premise signs or temporary banner signs, except for grand openings or special
events for a maximum of (15) days in a six (6) month period. Also, the Blair Municipal Code
does not allow for these types of signs to be placed on city /state right of way. Therefore, we ask
that you please remove this sign no later than Friday, February 25, 2011.
