RE: Building Permit
Dear Mr. & Mrs. Steffen:
On September 15, 2010, you applied for a building permit for your residence located at
1865 Lincoln Street to build an addition onto your accessory building. There have been
several attempts by Howard Wolfe, our building inspector, to contact you about additional
plans he needs to complete the building permit application process for your addition with
no response from you.
As of today, your permit is still in the "applied" status due to the fact that we do not have
sufficient plans for your accessory building addition. Therefore, the permit has not been
issued.
Please contact Brandy Petersen, building department clerk, or Howard Wolfe, building
inspector, at 402.426.4191 by March 7, 2011 to inform us whether you plan to proceed
with this project or not. If we do not hear from you by March 7, 2011, we will void the
current permit application. According to section 1401 of the City of Blair Zoning
Regulations, the conditional use permit granted by the Blair City Council on July 14, 2009
will also be terminated.

It is a violation of the City of Blair Municipal Code, Section 9 -104, to commence or proceed
with a construction or remodeling project that requires a building permit without first
applying for and being issued a building permit to do so. Failure to do so is a Class III
misdemeanor, as defined by the statutes of the State of Nebraska, Section 28 -106.
