Howard from Blair inspection accompanied this deputy all items were discussed with Dave and Howard.
If you wish to contact Howard when items are completed to come out this will be up to you.
1. Dock area all gasoline containers found by the dock and gasoline containers found in the plant by the
wall shall be removed immediately to a proper flammable location as discussed, NFPA 30, NFPA 61
11.7.
2. Buy the dock you shall have the proper clearance in front of the two main electrical panels that are on
the north wall, Art 500.
3.- Panel B shall have the opening closed properly, NFPA 70 110.
4. The three LPG cylinders found in the ware house shall be removed immediately and stored in the cage
or removed from the property. NFPA 58 ch 3.2.
5. Flammable storage for the LPG shall be labeled properly as listed by NFPA 58 3.2.2.
6. Two open light fixtures were found, with clamps and in use under the equipment to see the grain, this
was discussed, NO where in NFPA 61 or NFPA 70 does it allow you to have open bulbs in a class 2
division 2 area. This is a very dangerous practice, remove the open light immediately and have an
electrician install proper lights if needed. NFPA 70 art 500 2 2 area.
7. Fire extinguisher through the entire plant needs inspected and tagged, NFPA 10.
8. Riser room by the south door all material blocking or impeding any one from getting to the sprinkler
system shall be removed. This is not a storage room this is a sprinkler riser room only. NFPA 13.
9. New dump pit area is still under retrofitting, The composite wood covering the opening at the pit shall
be removed and proper material shall be installing to prevent some one from dropping into the pit, and a
proper cover shall be over the grate. Noted was the stares which will not meet any OSHA requirements
for proper installation remove and install proper stares in needed, CFR 1910 chl .2
Sever items were discussed with Dave and will be attended to as needed. Over all this was a well keep
plant.
