As a courtesy, you are hereby notified that you are in violation of Blair City Code
Section 4 -506. You have permitted, allowed or are maintaining growth of twelve inches
or more in height of weeds, grasses or worthless vegetation at the real estate described
hereinabove.
Please be advised if you fail or refuse to properly mow and maintain the
property within five (5) days of date of delivery of this Notice, the City will hire a
contractor to eliminate the violation on the property. Any such costs for the
removal of any weeds, grasses or worthless vegetation shall immediately become
due and payable, jointly and severally from the property owners and adult
occupants of the above - described real estate. If you fail or refuse to pay the
costs thereof, the City will levy the fee against your property in the form of
special assessments.
In addition, failure to comply with this notice may subject you to criminal
prosecution pursuant to City of Blair Municipal Code Section 4 -602, which upon
conviction thereof will subject you to a fine of up to $200.00.
Please be advised this is a one -time courtesy. If you fail to properly maintain your
property, the City will hire the appropriate contractor to eliminate the violation and bill
property owners accordingly. Your property will be re- inspected on October 6, 2010 for
compliance.

To Whom It May Concern,
You are in violation for a nuisance of noxious weeds, grasses and worthless
vegetation along the City right of way at the above property. The owner of each lot
abutting a street or highway within the City limits is responsible for maintaining the
space between the property line and the curb or edge of the pavement free and clear of
noxious weeds and debris and to keep the grass mowed shorter than 12 inches.
Therefore, we are requesting that you spray for noxious weeds, mow the area 12' back
from the curb and maintain the grass shorter than 12 inches.
According to City Code, you must correct the violation within 5 days of the receipt
of this letter or a citation will be issued.
We anticipate your property will be inspected on or about September 21, 2010.
Again, if the violation has not been resolved, a citation will be issued.
