You have permitted, allowed or are maintaining growth of twelve inches or more in height of weeds, grasses or worthless vegetation at the real estate described hereinabove. The owner of each lot abutting a street or highway within the City limits is responsible for maintaining the space between the property line and the curb or edge of the pavement free and clear of noxious weeds and debris and to keep the grass mowed shorter than 12 inches. Therefore, we are requesting that you spray for noxious weeds, mow the area 12' back from the curb and maintain the grass shorter than 12 inches. According to City Code, you must correct the violation within 5 days of the receipt of this letter or a citation will be issued. We anticipate your property will be inspected on or about September 21, 2010. Again, if the violation has not been resolved, a citation will be issued.
