LICENSE BOARD
August 2, 2010

Present: Allen Shoemaker, Howard Wolfe & Rod Storm -- License Board
Jack Bennett - Contractor
Motion by Storm, second by Schoemaker to approve the minutes of the
October 5, 2009 as presented. All members present voted Aye.
Based on a written complaint from Precision Lighting & Electric (non-
payment of subcontractor for work performed) and a verbal complaint
from the homeowner (failure to obtain a final inspection for project
completion), the License Board requested the presence of Jack Bennett dba
Elkhorn Home Improvement to appear before the Board to show just cause
why his Contractor Registration with the City of Blair should not be revoked
in the city limits and the city's two mile jurisdiction. Mr. Bennett was sent a
letter on July 27, 2010 requesting his presence at this meeting or his
registration would be revoked. Mr. Bennett was present to address the
concerns of the Board. Motion by Storm, second by Schoemaker to allow
continuation of Contractor's registration for two (2) weeks (August 16,
2010), provided he has requested a final for Building Permit #13273 and
cleared up any problem with unpaid subcontractors relative to Building
Permit #13273. All members present voted Aye.
Motion by Wolfe, second by Schoemaker to adjourn the meeting at 9:00
a.m.
