Gene Soloi oe reported that he had tried several times to call the gentleman who had a sign raking eechine which we mi , h.t be able to purchase but had not been abee to reach him. Ralph . teyer reported that the State Wide Arboretum prefers that sign identifying trees and shrubs be made of metal. Ralph Steyer reported that he had talked to Doug Bullock about the possibility of hiring Gary Ladman e e head ✓# of the City Panne G Arboretum. Ral nh wial contact Lade.., to Gee if he is interested. New Bucin.ess: Marilyn Gehtry reported. that Lion's Club will donate 31500 to the city +arks for 411 1the purpose of buying; playground: equipment. She suggested we get two bids on play- ground for the fiscal 88 - year. Marilyn will contact Eli Churehich and Judy will contact the ::.bin t t2t sold the playground eo inment that has been installed at the wrade schools.
