11-04-1988• Blair Park Board Meeting November 4, 1988 The meeting was called to order by President Marilyn Gentry. Members present were; Steyer, Wilson, Sick, Gentry and. Solomon. Absent was hohensee. Minutes of the October meeting were read and approved. Old Business: The city has set aside $500.00 for the purchase of trees for city planning. Ralph Steyer suggested that the trees be selected ana ordered as soon as the city has a , and we are given a ourchse order. ;omie trees suggested earlier were seedless ash, sugar maple, linden, swamp oak, red oaK and summit ash. E4ph reported that the Blair Park Arboretum fund had a be ance of = L121.0.22. New Business: Paleh and Gene have tarred some nice trees at the Solomon place. ; =ore of the trees are to purchased and some are to be aonated. Ralph suggested that the Arboretum fund be audited by Gene and George at the January , 89 m: eti ng. Judy roved and Gene seconded that Ralph be paid 4821 to expfn e incurred, coffee-etc., et the Curator's meeting on Oct. 21st. Gene was appointed to check on the cost of a used machine for caking signs for identifying trees and shrubs and report ee the eeen er meeting;.
