the meeting was called to order by President Marilyn Gentry.Members
present were Gentry, Stayer, Hohensee, Solomon, Sick end Wilson.
Minutes of the July 7, meeting were read and approved.
Old &easiness: The policy concerning ioanieg of park picnic tables and
other park materials has been presented to the city ccnincil for their
approval.
In regard to the cross made by lee ueldo i ieiold, Judy Sick will contact
city attorney Lyman Nelson about the legality of placing the cross on
city property.
It was also reported that the city was willing to spend up to x200.00
for new roses for the Rose Garden. It is hopes these can be ordered
this tall or very early spring end be obtained at whole sale prices.
:vew business: Tree plantings along city streets Has t escubsec . It
was suggested that there be a cost sharing plan Aith the property
owner as better care would be the result o_: such a sharing. Marilyn
Gentry will contact Doug Bullock to see it input concerning .he street

Judy Sick moved and Gene Solomon seconded the motion that Ralph Steyer's
expense for a fan (16.00 t tax) and eoetege 45.00) by el awed out of
the arboretum fund. : otiarl carried.
