08-03-1989• • Blair Fark Board Minutes Aug. 3, 1999 Meeting was called to order by President Marilyn Gentry. Members present were Marilyn Ceetry, George Wilson, Gene Solomon, and Judy Sick. Also present was Ralph Steyr. Member absent was Roger Hoher,see. Minutes were read and approved as corrected. Old Easiness: Gene Solomon reported that a letter had been sent to Bette Morse £1c- Milan. A coy of the letter has been placed on file. George Wileon reported that the See -Saw lizt3 been ordered, paid for and received. It will be put in place at Stemmermen Park as soon as possible. Gene Solomon will sell the Park Dept. several trees of the r .nt.s Luca- - der;ris, eico Fir, Leuglas i it varieties and others for use in the gild Life Conservation area. Gene will contact Bob Leonard about digging there. New Business: President Gentry directed the secretar to send thank you letters to Esther Manske, Walter Huber and J. Hilton Rhodes for their fine efforts at the Eo e Garden. Ralph reported that he tid11 attend the August le -19th, meeting of the American Association of Arcretu;n and Botanical Gardens in Lincoln. P'resdient G entry will call the adx inistratcr telling him that the native grasses in Black Elk- Neihardt is to be cut by Clark Jenson. A price of two or three hundred dollars be charged or a contribution to the Arboretum Fund be made by Jenson. Judy Sick will. contact Annette Kutelek about the cord on the tether ball.
