Blair Park Board Minutes
June 1, 1989
Meeting was called to order by President Marilyn Gentry. Members present were
Ralph Steyer, George Wilson, Marilyn Gentry and Gene Solomon. Absent was Judy
Sick and Roger Hohensee.
Minutes of the May 4, meeting were approved as received in the rail.
Gene Solomon presented a bill in the amount of 307.70 for trees purchased from
Lawyer Nursery, Inc., which were planted in the wild life area in Black Elk -
Neihardt Park. Motion by Steyer and seconded by Wilson to pay the bill. Carried.
Ralph Steyer reported that a meeting of curators at Curtis and North Platte
June 15 and 16. There will also be a meeting of Midwest qnit of the American
horticulture Association of Arboretum and Botanical Gardens in August.
Gene moved and Ralph seconded the motion that another child's swing seat be
ordered from Annette Kutelik like the seat ordered earlier.
It was suggested that Warren Whitaker bar invited to attend the July meeting
to answer some concerns of the park Board.
