09-06-1990111 Blair Park Advisory Board • Sept. 6, 1990 The Advisory Board met at the Park Office at 7:30 P.Y. with President George b:ilson presiding. The other person present was ;arilyn Gentry. Absent were board members Greg Drew, Roger Hohensee, Gene Solomon and Bob Leonard. Since we lacked a quorum nothing of an official nature was de- cided. However i :arilyn and george did talk about the following items. 1. The fact that the Corporate State Wide Arboretum Memberships have not been taken care of. 2. The proposed Over Nijht RV Park and the effect the 2 lid would have on the deveoprnent. 3. That a policy or resolution :night be in order to determine future placement of memorials in the city parks. 4. That an agenda be rrailde out prior to each board meeting. 5. Ttle possible need to remove the large elm tree at the entrance to the office- maintainance area as it ar_pears to have Dutch - Elm disease. b. Getting the move to the log cabin on the City Council agenda. 7. Progress on gapping trees and other plant materials. 8. Possibility of selling hay from the Slack Elk- Peihardt Park meadow. 9. Realph would like to order some materials for the parks. 10. attendance at the Nebr. /Omaha Travel Information Centel dedication on Sept. 13. 11.
