MINUTES OF
THE BLAIR PARK BOARD MEETING
SEPTEMBER 5, 1991
The meeting was called to order by George Wilson, Chairman,
at 7:30 P.M. in the Blair Park Office.
Present were: Chairman Wilson, Gene Solomon, Marilyn
Gentry, Bob Leonard, and Gregory P. Drew. Also present was Ralph
Steyer.
The minutes of the August 1, 1991 meeting were read. After
one amendment, the minutes were unanimously approved.
Ralph Steyer reported that the tree tags would cost $5.75 per
Discussion was had in reference to the erosion problems at
Blair Elk Park, both around the reservoir and the overflow. It
was suggested that the utility department should repair the
damage.
Discussion was had regarding the plantings on the R -V Park.
Ralph Steyer will prepare a list of plantings for the next
meeting.
Regarding camp ground regulations, members were to gather
park regulations for further discussion.
It was moved by Gregory P. Drew to recommend the purchase of
ten (10) picnic tables and ten (10) pedestal grills for use at the
R -V Park. Seconded by Bob Leonard and the motion carried
unanimously.
It was suggested that the Ministerial Association be
contacted regarding a bulletin board of church announcements to
be placed at the R -V Park.
Discussion was had regarding a pay telephone for the R -V
Park. The matter was tabled.
It was suggested that consideration be given to relocating
the dump station to the east if possible. No vote was taken.
Moved by Bob Leonard and seconded by Gene Solomon to adjourn.
Motion unanimously carried.
