THE BLAIR PARK BOARD MEETING
APRIL 4, 1991
The meeting was called to order by George Wilson, Chairman,
at 7 :30 P.M. Present were: George Wilson, Gene Solomon, Bob
Leonard, Bill Tisdale and Greg Drew. Also present was Ralph
Steyer.
Greg Drew moved to approve the minutes as mailed out. Gene
Solomon seconded the motion, which was unanimously carried.
The budget summary was reviewed.
Gene Solomon moved to purchase two sand filled benches from
Lyle Loge, and two solid concrete benches from Arp Concrete.
Seconded by Bill Trisdale, and unanimously carried.
A report was received on the RV Park.
A report was received on the "Dog on Leash" signs. It was
suggested that more signs be placed and that a news article
regarding the signs and the ordinance be released.
Reference care of roses'`in Rose Garden: It was moved by Gene
Solomon and seconded by Bob Leonard that George Wilson contact
the Chamber to solicit support for care of roses in garden.
Unanimously carried.
Greg Drew moved that the outside water at the Blair Park
Office be repaired, seconded by Trisdale and unanimously carried.
Moved by Gene Solomon and seconded by Bob Leonard that the
next Blair Park Board Meeting should convene at Black Elk Shelter
to give the Board an opportunity to consider plantings and
possible repair of the ceramic monuments. The motion was
unanimously carried.
Moved by Bob Leonard that we participate in the Nebraska
Statewide Arboretum Plant Research Consortium. Seconded by Bill
Trisdale, unanimously carried. Chairman Wilson requested and
authorized Ralph Steyer to complete the necessary application.
Moved by Bill Trisdale and seconded by Gene Solomon that the
meeting adjourn. Unanimously carried.
