MINUTES OF
THE BLAIR PARK BOARD MEETING
FEBRUARY 7, 1991
The meeting was called to order by George Wilson, Chairman,
at 7:30 P.M. Present were: George Wilson, Marilyn Gentry, Bill
Trisdale, and Greg Drew.
Reading of the minutes of the December 6, 1990 meeting was
unanmiously waived.
The following were unanimously elected officers:
Chairman: George Wilson
Vice Chairman: Gene Solomon
Secretary: Greg Drew
It was reported that the picnic tables had been received,
been treated with sealer, and will be painted as soon as
possible.
I was reported that no word has been received regarding
funds to be used for the recreational vehicle park.
The mapping of Steyer and Stemmerman Parks are progressing,
both projects being nearly completed.
Approximately 30 trees will be transplanted from the nursery
to the park.
Budget status report was presented, reviewed and received.
It was moved by Marilyn Gentry and seconded by Bill Trisdale
that Ralph Steyer be authorized to purchase plant materials up to
$150.00. Unanimously carried.
Trees and shrub labels have been received.
As to Agenda items # #9, #11 and #13, the Chairman will discuss
with the City Manager, the possibility of hiring a horticulture
student as a summer employee.
It was moved by Bill Trisdale and seconded by Marilyn Gentry
to adjourn. The motion was unanimously carried.
